City Offers Public Speaking Workshops Starting Next Month

The city will host a series of public speaking workshops beginning January 10, 2026, at the Community Center. These workshops are designed to help residents develop their communication skills in both personal and professional settings.

The workshops will run every Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM for six weeks. Participants will engage in practical exercises and receive feedback from experienced instructors. The program aims to boost confidence and effectiveness in public speaking among attendees.

Organized by the City’s Department of Community Engagement, the workshops are open to adults and teens aged 16 and older. Registration is required, and the department encourages those interested to sign up early as spaces are limited.

Public speaking is an essential skill that can enhance opportunities for employment, networking, and community involvement. This initiative follows a successful series of similar workshops held last year, which received positive feedback from participants.

To register for the workshops, visit the City’s official website or contact the Department of Community Engagement at 555-0123. The deadline for sign-ups is January 3, 2026.
